Principal’s Letter
Proverbs 1:7 tells us that “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.” That’s not just Biblical knowledge; it’s all knowledge. At Ambassador Christian Academy, our goal is to foster spiritual growth and to provide a quality education through a Christ-centered, Bible-based curriculum. Educating today’s students with this goal in mind is a tremendous task; preparing them for the world we live in is challenging. I believe with all of my heart that it is both a privilege and a responsibility.
ACA’s mission is to equip our students academically and spiritually for life beyond these walls. A desire for excellence in academics is coupled with the desire to instill in our students a heart of service. While students are guided in the learning process through the use of outstanding curriculum including A Beka, Bob Jones, Christian School International, and the Saxon Math program, they are also encouraged to serve others in order to bring honor and glory to the Lord. Whether it be ministering to local nursing home residents, packing boxes for South Jersey Food Bank, collecting items for orphans in Guatemala, or participating in worship during chapel, our students are learning that their purpose, their very reason for being created, is to love and glorify the Lord our God with all of their heart, mind, soul, and strength.
As the Principal, I desire to see each of our students grow mentally, emotionally, and, most importantly, spiritually. My hope is that ACA’s students would take from this place a hunger for God’s Word, keeping their hearts and minds open as they seek His will for their lives. It brings me great happiness to see students succeeding and gaining knowledge through their studies, but it brings me true joy to see a student “grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18).
For His glory,
Autumn Heckman, M.Ed.
